Social responsibility

The importance of corporate social responsibility

As you already know, CSR is the contribution that a company makes in a volunteer to actively improve the social, economic and environmental framework in which it is immersed. It consists of going a step beyond the existing rules and laws that a company should comply with and actively assessing the impact of its actions on society, the environment, etc.

And as it could not be otherwise,SUESA has the ISO 14001 certified!

What is the relationship between ISO 14001 and Corporate Social Responsibility?

This certificate guarantees that all the activities we carry out do NOT have a negative impact on the environment, but that we evaluate their impact before carrying them out in order to optimize the processes. We are committed to the environment, its protection and the prevention of pollution!

ISO 14001 certification is issued by the International Organization for Standardization which imposes a series of voluntary rules that all companies wishing to obtain it must comply with.

You may still be wondering how having this certificate affects our products. Well, it's very simple! All the products we manufacture are covered by a quality policy. (ISO 9001) and respect for the environment (ISO 14001)With all this, at SUESA, we are completely sure that our relationship will be much better from now on, since you now know a little more about us and our environmental involvement.

How do we contribute to Corporate Social Responsibility?

June 5th is World Environment Day, we may be a little late with this post, but this day should be celebrated 365 days a year. We must do everything possible to avoid the emission of gases into the atmosphere and reduce climate change. This way we would not need to bombard ourselves with the slogan one day a year «Every little gesture counts»

Now, we suggest some small gestures that will help us all to preserve the planet. Remember, the more you do, the better for everyone!

  • Choose products that are produced locally or nationally, thus avoiding contamination from the fuels needed for their transportation.

  • Use reusable bags, leaving aside plastic ones.

  • Use public transport. If you use a bicycle, in addition to not polluting, you will also be doing sport, which is very good for your health.

  • Save a scarce commodity like water.

  • Do not keep your home too hot by using heating.
