SUESA has completed the implementation of the High Voltage Assembly section. The processes of assembly in aluminum tub of the transformers measurement, both of intensity and voltage as well as capacitive.
It has been a long process that has taken us a year: we have analysed the plant layout, each of the work stations and the logistics of materials according to Lean Manufacturing. Subsequently, we have fitted out the space available for this section (400 m2) with electrical and pneumatic installations, lighting, several cranes and acoustic conditioning.
Assembly is the final phase of manufacturing, in which subassemblies manufactured in other sections of the company are integrated: the primary, the secondary, the reactances saturable and angle correction reactances. In addition to the assembly of the components and the core, the process includes internal connections, external block connections, tank closure and checks.
This action responds to the strategy initiated in 2016 to make the assembly process of high voltage transformers independent, with a manager and its own management indicators. For the implementation of this activity, SUESA has received a subsidy from the 2i Plan for the promotion of Innovation and Advanced Investment.
